Elections

Regular city elections are held every two years in the odd-numbered years. The City Clerk provides election materials to residents wishing to run for mayor or city council. Election materials can be picked up at City Hall, 138 Jackson Street, or obtained from the Iowa Secretary of State Website.

Candidates file completed nomination papers with the Poweshiek County Auditor.

Voting & Registration

Voter registration forms can be found at City Hall, 138 Jackson Street, or online at the Iowa Secretary of State Website. Absentee Ballots can also be found at City Hall or online at the Iowa Secretary of State Website.
