*Landes Park

Brooklyn-Victor Country Club Golf Course

This private course is located east of Brooklyn on Old 6 Road, features a rolling-hill nine-hole golf course, cart storage sheds and club house.  For membership information contact Tom Thompson 641-522-7927.

 

Indoor Swimming Pool

Located at BGM High School, 1090 Jackson Street.   Aqua team events, tots and adult water exercise programs, summer swimming lessons and open public swimming programs are held during the year.

 

Baseball and Softball Fields

 

Manatts Field

A softball diamond located on Brooklyn’s South Side on Brady Street has a concession stand, restroom facility, and small shelter house.  Summer programs are held for High School girls, peewee, youth and adult leagues.

 

Sports Complex

Complex is located north of the BGM School, which consist of the original High School Baseball Diamond, two community Little League diamonds, concession stand with restrooms and playground area provided by many volunteer hours, various fundraising events,
and grants along with the new High School Softball.


Parks

 

Landes Park

This park is the oldest park in the City of Brooklyn with restrooms on site, historical bandstand, shelter house, grills, and playground equipment for all ages.  
Landes Park is located on Clay Street.

 

Oswood Park

Located on Brooklyn’s south side, has a peewee ball diamond and playground equipment.
